This project was funded by World Vision International Nepal with an aim to uplift the economic status of the marginalized groups. It helped them organize into groups to form their own cooperatives to monitor and implement their program themselves. These programs encouraged them to involve in micro-financing activities for the creation of economically feasible society increasing their networking and making them aware of their rights. Over five hundred families from Sunsari district have been able to upgrade their socio-economic status under this project.

Illiterate women of Far Western Region of Nepal were trained about the saving and Credit. Several Cooperatives were formed then the cooperatives were handed over to the local women. The project was funded by World Vision International which is merged into Heifer International Project.
