Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Training Project was a short term project conducted at Sushma Koirala Memorial Nursing Campus, supported by Ministry of Health. The project was implemented with an objective to professionally train the health workers about the importance of health and hygiene as well as the ways of reducing death ratio of mothers during the period of child birth.
 
     
Sushma Koirala Memorial CMA/ANM Campus was established in 2053 in Nepalgunj. It is affiliated with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It’s main aim is to produce professionally skilled community medical assistants and auxiliary nurse midwives bringing the awareness in the rural community about the importance of basic health education through counseling and training programs. So far, the campus has produced 492 Community Medical Assistants in 12 batch and 301 Auxiliary Nurse Midwives.
