		Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Training project

		Ministry of Health Nepal

		2004-2005 AD (18 months)

		To professionally train the maternity and child health worker (MCHW) under the Ministry of Health Nepal associated mother-child welfare program. To teach the MCHW the importance of health and hygiene education. To teach the MCHW the ways of reducing the death ratio of mother during the period of child birth. To teach the MCHW how to provide effective motherhood services.

		40 MCHW trained by Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Training and being qualified as ANM.
